Value soya milk... What is it good for?...

Absolutely nothing... Say it again!!

Sadly the title says it all. I try to see the positive in most things but when it comes to value Soya milk positivity is no where to be seen.

From ASDA or Morrison's to TESCO's the universal truth is their value soya milk sucks!

Admittedly sweetened Soya is usually better than unsweetened (which is close to undrinkable) however that's not saying much.

In tea or coffee you need to pack a cuppa with sugar to disguise the taste. Which is not very healthy. Plus many cheap Soya milks will curdle in hot drinks, which is not much use. If you have strong tasting cereal you may get away with using value sweetened Soya for breakfast. You can use value Soya in porridge if you are stuck without any water, however I would recommend you use honey to aid with flavouring.

I would not recommend using any value Soya as a drink on its own.

The fact is, value Soya is not worth it, as its mid priced Soya rivals are only 10p - 20p more expensive and taste so much better!

A tea break is to be enjoyed not endured... But the choice is yours.

Take care,

Dom O'Neill
